Nourich™ NeuroArts Neighborhood

Nourich LLC, A NeuroArts Neighborhood, is a hybrid social enterprise rooted in Philadelphia's living tradition of resilience, creativity, and healing. We bring together yoga, neuroscience, and the healing arts, ancient remedies fused with modern technology, to connect culture and community from roots to routes.

Nourich is a Philadelphia-based NeuroArts community that integrates yoga, reading, writing, medical literacy through positive psychology and neuroscience-informed wellness, and cultural healing practices. We envision a world where every person, regardless of origin, has access to personalized wellbeing through the intersection of neuroscience, ancient wisdom, and lived creative practice. A Philly-Style Renaissance that belongs to the world.

From hardship to healing, roses growing from concrete cracks. Not alone, but together. Nature nourishes us. Nurture holds us. NeuroArts creates opportunities for growth through creative practice. Come as you are. Stay as us become... Nourich.us

What we do:

  • Pop-up NeuroArts events that meet communities where they are—parks, community centers, tailgates, gatherings

  • Mental health crisis intervention through creative expression that soothes the nervous system and rebuilds hope

  • Medical literacy that empowers people to understand their own healing

  • Cultural wellness rooted in the revolutionary spirit of the Harlem Renaissance—where art, music, storytelling, and soul food become tools of resistance and restoration

We serve:

  • Individuals facing darkness for opportunities for growth

  • Families seeking connection.

  • Communities needing collective healing

  • Organizations wanting to build empowered teams

Freedom, Flavor, & Undeniable Growth to Flourish.

The Crisis We're Answering

The mental health system is broken. Wait lists are months long. Treatment is expensive. Communities are hurting. People need healing now—not next quarter, not after insurance approval, not when they can afford it.

Nourich™ NeuroArts Neighborhood was born from a simple truth: healing can't wait, and it shouldn't cost your humanity.

Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, a time when Black artists, writers, and creators transformed culture through collective expression despite systemic oppression, we bring that same revolutionary energy to mental health crisis intervention for all humans.

We are:

  • A veteran-founded, black, and woman with disabilities, owned with her school teacher husband, creating a community-centered wellness movement

  • “Shit Creek” and School of Hard Knocks thriver working through personal exploration of Neuroarts as medicine.

  • Extensive multifaceted medical experienceCombat Medic, Army Cross-Trained Pharmacy Tech, Anesthesia Tech, Mental Health Advocate, with Art Therapist & Acupuncturist as the end goal.

  • Renaissance woman and man who believe art is accessible medicine

  • A neighborhood that shows up where healing is needed most

Our founder's journey from child exposed to trauma since the womb to combat medic to anesthesia tech, mental health grassroots visionary taught us this: the most powerful medicine isn't locked behind clinic doors. It's in our creativity, our stories, our shared meals, our communal rhythm. It's in what happens when we gather, create, and witness each other's humanity.

Nourich™ is healing as resistance. Wellness as a Renaissance. Community as a cure.

What is Nourich™ ?

Nourich™ NeuroArts Renaissance

Nourich™ [noun, verb] | pronounced: NUR-ich

A holistic philosophy and practice that combines nourishment with flourishing—the intentional act of feeding the whole person through neuroarts, empathetic connection, and bioethically grounded wellness.

To nourich™ is to create conditions where art becomes medicine, color becomes language, and rhythm becomes healing; where every person's dignity is honored as sacred; where community becomes the canvas for transformation.

Etymology:
Nourish (sustenance + growth) + Neuro (brain + nervous system) + Rich (abundant + meaningful)

Together, Nourich™ becomes a living neighborhood of creativity and care—where the whole self is nourished, art meets community, and our shared humanity rises into its own cultural renaissance.
